Green Tea Mojito

A refreshingly easy cocktail for your next get together

What is a celebration, a weekend, a gathering of friends, or a long day after work without a Mojito in hand? It’s painful and it is dull, let me us tell you that. With a slight twist on the classic Mojito we have created the ever so fresh and flavoursome ‘Green Tea Mojito’. With a short ingredients list and an easy method, this Mojito will have you organising a get together just for the excuse to make it again.

Green Tea Mojito

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Serves: 4

350ml Green Tea
3 tablespoons Honey
160ml good quality White Rum
2 medium sized Limes
A small handful of Mint
400ml Soda Water
Ice
1. Combine 3 green tea bags, 2tbpn honey and 350ml boiling water to brew for 3 minutes. Remove tea bags and put in refrigerator to cool.
2. Slice the limes into quarters and place in a small bowl along with the rum. Muddle until most of the juice has separated from the flesh. In a large jug fill with a large handful of ice, the muddled limes and rum, 1tbpn honey and the mint.
3. Top the jug with the chilled green tea and soda water. Stir once and serve immediately.
